We are glad that you have found the NY Center for Integrative Health in your search for acupuncture therapy. After all, our licensed acupuncturist and naturopathic physician, Dr. Robert Kachko, is pleased to partner with individuals from throughout greater Fairfield County and the NYC metro area. We take a “big picture” approach to detecting and treating all of our patients’ ailments and underlying conditions. In doing so, we support overall health, healthy function, and lasting wellbeing.
As a comprehensive holistic provider, we take the best of what both modern and traditional medicine have to offer to our patients. Notably, such therapies that are proven to be safe and effective include acupuncture.
Acupuncture is a time-tested therapy that has been used for thousands of years to effectively treat hundreds of conditions. Following a thorough evaluation at one of our NYC area locations in Manhattan or Stamford, Dr. Kachko may find that acupuncture is an appropriate approach to improve mental, emotional, and physical conditions not limited to:
The “secret” to acupuncture’s staying power is its well-demonstrated ability to relieve inflammation, boost circulation, relax the nervous system, and bolster the endorphins or “feel good” hormones that fight pain, ease stress, and stabilize moods. The process that facilitates these many benefits is itself relaxing; many of our patients simply kick back and doze off or take a “cat nap.” Once treatment is completed, we often hear that acupuncture feels like getting an extra two or three hours of rest! In around six to ten weekly treatment sessions lasting 30 to 40 minutes each, many individuals that we partner with experience a reduction in the frequency and/or severity of their pain and the other complaints that brought them to NYCIH in the first place.
All treatments are administered by adhering to the strictest safety standards and are tailored to each person’s unique needs based on findings from the evaluation and additional specialized assessments that Dr. Kachko may order. Acupuncture may be paired with our range of complementary therapies, including electrical stimulation.
