WAVI Brain Activity Testing

Wavi brain scan device for information on brain activity and health

At the NY Center for Integrative Health, we pride ourselves on offering patients of the Manhattan, New York area a wide selection of diagnostic services and treatment for a range of health challenges. In addition, we continue to reinvest in our practice to provide patients with diagnostic tools and services that are state-of-the-art and revolutionary! One tool we use in our practice is the WAVi brain scan device. Dr. Robert Kachko utilize this device to gain an assessment of brain function. This includes assessing people for attention deficit disorder, concussion, fatigue, anxiety, and dementia.

What is the WAVi brain scan device?

The WAVi brain scan device is one of many tools in our office that can provide information for us to offer the best services possible to a patient. This particular device is worn over the scalp and used as a proven, accurate way to measure the brain’s overall health and performance. It offers information that is used for the diagnosis and treatment of brain concerns using EEG technology. These brain scans completed with the WAVi brain scan device visually demonstrate the changes in the brain’s health after developing depression and anxiety or even after a head concussion. This allows our clinical team to assess for brain voltage changes, left to right laterality, and brain/physical response time to certain stimuli.

Why might a patient undergo a WAVi brain scan?

The WAVi EEG brain scan device is used in many ways as a fast, effective, and reliable way to test the brain for performance and overall health. With the information obtained with the Wavi brain scan, our doctors can offer a definite diagnosis of certain conditions such as:

  • Concussions
  • Depression and anxiety
  • ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder)
  • Alzheimer’s and dementia
  • Aging brain
  • Overall brain performance
